What is Somatic Resourcing
Somatic Resourcing (SR) is a body centered way of working with clients to assess and build or repair basic developmental resources we are suppose to have developed in early childhood.  Without these basic resources any form of psychotherapy can be cumbersome and other than effective.  Our core sense of self is developed in our formative years, along with a sense of safety, security, and having a right to exist.  For more information on Somatic Resourcing Training click here.

New Groups
New groups will start from the beginning.  They will be run as a training group to start with.  I will:
  • go over basic information, teach you activities and give you information on how they are helpful and how to interpret reactions to them,
  • have you do activities in group and ask you to practice in between group meetings so you develop these resources, and
  • practice with each other.
You will be required to develop these resources yourself so you can be effective in doing them with your clients.  If you are not resourced yourself your clients will be unable to benefit.  (See Somatic Resourcing information under training section).  As time permits each meeting, we will discuss cases and how your clients are reacting to resourcing activities.  As group members become more resourced themselves and more proficient with sharing somatic resources with your clients we will expand our time discussing cases.

Currently Running Group
There is currently a group running and if you are interested in meeting with me individually I can catch you up to join them.  This group only meets once a month.  There is a lot to cover in this group so the format from month to month may change to get everything in.
Date:  This group meets the third Friday of every month
Time:  12:00p until 2:00p.

Cost & Committment
$65.00 per group session
Groups require both an attendance and financial commitment.  You can miss two groups in a year's period of time (from when you start) if I receive notification by telephone at least 48 hours prior to the group meeting.  If you give less than 48 hours notice you will be responsible for payment of that group session.  You are welcome to end your time in group whenever you feel you have received all you require from our meetings.

$110.00 per hour for individual consultation
24 hours notice of cancellation by telephone is required or you will be responsible for payment of a missed consultation time.

OTHER TIMES are available to start new groups.  New groups will meet twice a month for more consistency and better integration of material.  

Internet Video Conferencing  I can provide individual and group consultation via internet video conferencing if you are located out of my area.

EMDR Consultation

Consultation to complete EMDR Training  
I am a Facilitator with the EMDR Institute, Inc. and I provide required consultation for those who are going through the Institute’s training.  We can discuss how to best complete these requirements.  I can provide individual consultation and more specifically tailor consultation to your skills.  When I have more than one person requiring consultation for the EMDR training I can set up a group time specific to meeting your training requirements.  You may be able to join an existing post training EMDR consult group depending on what they are currently working on in that group.  I can also provide consultation via internet video conferencing both individually and for a group if you are in an area without a Facilitator nearby.

Post Training EMDR Consultation
I am also an Approved Consultant with EMDRIA so any hours of EMDR consultation you do with me can count toward your EMDRIA Certification and I can provide individual and/or group consultation time for you if you are preparing to become an Approved EMDRIA Consultant.  

Current Group
I currently have an EMDR Consultation group for clinicians who have completed EMDR training.  There is a lot we cover in this group.  We practice with each other, go over various protocols and discuss cases.  This group can meet group requirements for EMDRIA Certification.
